Safety

How we keep it safe.

What people share here is tender. This page says plainly what we check, what we never show, and where to turn if you need help now.

If you’re in crisis

Prayer is not a substitute for urgent help. If you or someone you love is in danger, please reach out now.

You don't have to face this alone.

Caring people are available right now, free and confidential, any time of day.

  • United States: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988
  • United Kingdom: Samaritans — call 116 123 (free, 24/7)

If you are in immediate danger, call 911 (US) or 999 (UK).

How we check a prayer

  1. A real person records it. Someone chooses your request and prays it out loud, in their own voice, on their own phone or computer.
  2. We check the recording. It is transcribed and matched against the words of your request. A recording that doesn’t match is not delivered, and the place opens for someone else.
  3. A person looks at anything flagged. Recordings or requests our checks flag go to a person on our team before anything else happens.
  4. You can ask us to look again. If a prayer you receive doesn’t feel right, you can appeal it in the first hours after you play it, and a person on our team decides.

Your name stays with you

People who pray never see who asked. You choose whether a request is public, anonymous, or a private journal entry only you can see. We do not sell your personal information. Privacy policy

Adults only (18+)

Pray.Online is for adults in the United States and the United Kingdom. Everyone confirms their age before they can ask or pray. If you think someone here is under 18, report them and our team will act.

Reporting and blocking

Every request and every prayer has a “More actions” menu with Report and Block. Reports reach a person on our team within 24-48 hours. Community guidelines

Praycredits, honestly

Nobody can buy a better prayer, and nobody can choose who gets paid. Tips are Praycredits, never a card payment, and they can’t be withdrawn. If your request closes before everyone has prayed, each empty place comes back to you. What is a Praycredit?
