How can we help?

Before you start

Who will pray for me?

Other members of Pray.Online: adults in the United States and the United Kingdom who choose to pray for people they have never met. They pick your request because it speaks to them, then pray it out loud in their own voice.

Is it a real person?

Yes. Every prayer is a recording of a real person’s voice. Before it reaches you we check it: the recording is transcribed and matched against the words of your request, and one that doesn’t match is not delivered. Anything our checks flag is looked at by a person on our team.

Which faith is it?

Pray.Online grew out of the Christian habit of praying for one another, and everyone is welcome to ask. Your request is prayed in your own words, so it keeps your own way of speaking to God.

What does a request cost?

One Praycredit for each person you ask to pray (1 Praycredit = 1 person praying). You choose how many people. Urgent requests cost a little more, and you always see the total before you send.

Can I stay anonymous?

Yes. People who pray never see your name, whatever you choose. You can also keep a request private, as a journal entry only you can see.

Why do people who pray earn Praycredits?

Praying out loud for a stranger takes time and care. When a prayer passes our checks, the person who prayed receives a share of a Praycredit as a thank-you, which they can later withdraw. Nobody can choose who gets paid, and tips can’t be withdrawn.

What if nobody prays?

If your request closes before everyone has prayed, each empty place comes back to you as a Praycredit, automatically.

Who runs this?

Pray.Online is run by Happily Ever Digital Ltd, a small company registered in England and Wales. Our About page says who we are and how to reach us.
